Kata Applications Workshop | South Ockendon

Kata Applications Workshop

What's happening?

Kata Bunkai is the analysis of kata and is an important area of training when it comes to learning and understanding each movement and how it works in a practical way. Without knowing the meaning of each technique and how it can be applied, all you are doing is learning the equivalent to a dance routine.
The focus of this workshop will be on the practical and sporting applications for Seiyunchin & Sanseru kata using stand up and groundwork as well as studying the Principles of Movement and how they can be applied in a practical manner.
The seminar will be taught by Sensei Richard Hang Hong (4th Dan) and SRK instructors.
Fee: £15 on the door.
Due to the size of the venue, places are limited to 40 participants so book early to avoid missing out.
