Doug Carn: Background information
Doug Carn is most well known for his crop of albums on the Black Jazz record label in 1970s. From 1971-1974, he released four groundbreaking deep, spiritual jazz albums – Infant Eyes , Spirit of the New Land , Revelation and Adam´s Apple . Guests on these albums include his wife at the time, Jean Carn, plus Strata East´s Charles Tolliver, Alphonse Mouzon, Olu Dara, Walter Booker, Big Black, Calvin Keys, Dick Schory, Ronnie Laws and more.
