16th December Pop-up Restaurant at the Stables

What's happening?

Our local guest chef for December is our very own Kevin Hodgson. Following the success of his lamb and burger nights he is excited to bring you some festive flavours.

The dining experience will be a relaxed and social one at communal tables, with each table holding up to 7 guests. We will provide glasses for you to bring your own bottle on the night with no corkage charged. Our December menu is priced at £29 per person which is payable in cash on the night.

The menu for our December evening is,

Soup

Cauliflower soup

Starter

Sloe gin cured gravalax
served with sourdough, cucumber and sour cream

Or

Stuffed courgette rolls
stuffed with lemon and basil ricotta

Main

Festive porchetta
rolled side of pork filled with apricots, cranberries, sultanas, sage and lots of other festive delights

Or

Baked squash
stuffed with chestnut and cranberry spiced rice

Dessert

Saffron poached pear with mincemeat ice cream

After Dinner

Mince pie and a glass of something mulled to be enjoyed around the firepit within the courtyard
