Are you interested in how our native hedgerow is managed?
For many years our hedgerow was managed through the woodman’s skill of hedge laying, this is a practice which fell out of favour for many years but has now seen a significant revival with more ancient, semi-ancient and established hedges being laid.
The hedgerows around Betteshanger are ideal for laying so why not come and join our one-day course?
You might have your own hedgerow at home which you could then manage in the same way that would benefit you and the wider bio-diversity of your garden.
