16th Sunday Brunch Scramble - Bicester - 22nd April

What's happening?

The Club will again be displaying at Bicester Heritage's Sunday Brunch Scramble meet on Sunday 22nd April (08:30 - 14:00). This highly popular event is open to ALL Porsche owners to display their vehicles in our dedicated display area. Members from other regions and non-members are welcome to join us.

Located close the M40, Bicester Heritage is the UK’s first park for the restoration, storage and enjoyment of vintage and classic cars, motorcycles and aeroplanes all set in 348 acres of a historic 1920s RAF bomber station. The event runs alongside The Federation of British Historic Vehicle Clubs’ 'Drive It Day' so it is expected to be very well supported, with the organisers expecting to have over 1200 cars, motorcycles and commercial vehicles, as well as historic aeroplanes, on display, undergoing restoration and for sale. Last year, we had 203 Porsches of all types in our display area on 'Porsche Avenue'.

As well as looking at the many vehicle displays, visitors will also be the oportunity to look at the various workshops around the site and visit the many trade stalls. As the name suggests hearty cooked breakfasts and drinks will be available during the event at various food stalls across the site.

As before, we'll have our own dedicated Porsche display area on the airfield perimeter with enough space for 150+ vehicles. On arrival, you'll be directed to our location (look out for the Porsche Club flags and event marshalls) but you should aim to arrive at BH before 09:30 to ensure you get a space within our display area. In all cases, entry and parking will be at the discretion of the organisers/event marshalls.

For your information, Bicester Heritage is located at the old RAF Bicester base on the North side of the town (view location on Google Maps). If you're using a Sat Nav, you should enter the postcode 'OX26 5HA' to find the correct geo-location for BH. The exact location of the Porsche display area is 51°54'59.0"N 1°08'16.4"W.

If you'd like to attend, you'll need to book and pay in advance online to obtain your downloadable entry ticket. The booking service accepts VISA and Mastercard payments. To ensure you pay the reduced rate you must select the 'Club Member Vehicle Ticket' link and enter 'Porsche Club GB' and the special discount code in the online booking form. Tickets are available online from the Bicester Heritage online ticket booking service until midnight the Sunday before. After this you'll have to pay on the gate. Please read the disclaimer regarding using the airfield site. Please also remember to drive responsibly and keep your speed down when driving on the airfield roads. Dogs are not permitted.

Please also message us with your details (name, vehicle, year of manufacture and index number) to let us know you've booked. Thanks.
